Position: Crew Foreman/Lead Installer

Project Area: Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, and Michigan

Employment Type: Full-time, Salaried

Work Schedule: 4-day work weeks

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Crew Foreman to lead a team of 3-4 crew members in the construction of bridges and boardwalks in the Midwest area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage a crew of 3-4 employees on bridge and boardwalk construction projects in the Midwest.
Ensure project timelines are met with high quality results
Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure project compliance with plans and specifications.
Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, and telehandlers as needed.
Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety regulations and procedures.
Perform quality control inspections to ensure work meets company standards.
Train and develop crew members.
Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges.
Maintain accurate records of on-site construction.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a crew foreman in bridge and boardwalk construction.
Ability to operate heavy equipment, including skid steers, mini excavators and telehandlers.
Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel within Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, and Michigan.
